Portrait
There will be
No Friends left
To paint a proper
Portrait
Blood for blood
A situation with no end
Silence, back bones break
A lone voice suffocates
In winter's muted breath
There will be
No Friends left
To paint a proper
Portrait
A locked cage opens
Vengeance pulls a shadow
From behind rusted bars
Points barrel between shoulder blades
Releases several rounds from its chamber
There will be
No Friends left
To paint a proper
Portrait
An orphaned boy awakens
There will be
No Friends left
To paint a proper
