A.J. Urquidi
 AJ Urquidi hails from Monterey, California. He received his BA in Creative Writing/Film from UCLA and MFA from CSU Long Beach. His poems have appeared in Chiron Review, Foothill, and Thin Air, been nominated for the Ina Coolbrith Prize, and won the Gerald Locklin Writing Prize. He has led creative writing workshops at CSULB and Beyond Baroque in Venice Beach.
